DARE Digital Detox And Reconnection to naturE “D.A.R.E” is a training course aimed at youth workers to help them adopt and promote balanced lifestyles in response to modern challenges. It’s organized by EcoFairly and it will take place from July 21st-29th in Lembach, France.

The project addresses issues of digital stress, misinformation, and disconnection from nature, which have been exacerbated by digitalization. 

It is based on two main pillars:

1. Digital disconnection: Reducing exposure to screens and digital stress by promoting a more moderate and conscious use of technology.
2. Reconnection to nature and oneself: Encouraging practices such as hiking, foraging, meditation, and healthy cooking to enhance physical and mental well-being.

The project aims to improve educators’ skills, provide innovative non-formal education methods, promote sustainable lifestyles, and strengthen international cooperation. It seeks to create a European network supporting youth resilience and inclusion in the face of climate and digital transitions.
