The project in a few words

All the Little Things is a Youth Participation Activity organised by Madrid Outdoor Education from Spain.
The project is an intercultural programme that aims to promote a process of personal and social development through the telling of extraordinary and ‘ordinary’ life stories. These life stories will be witnessed and made visible through the creation of a docu-film in which all the people involved in the project will participate through interviews. The aim is to create safe spaces for personal growth and dialogue between different socio-cultural and generational profiles.
The impulse to dialogue will allow young people to reflect on different realities and, at the same time, to meditate on their past and present in order to have a clearer vision of the future they want to create. Accustoming people to dialogue also means encouraging them to open up and get closer to others, thus strengthening the social fabric as a means of support against prejudice and isolation.

Different Steps of the Project

The project will develop as follows:

  • An initial mobility is planned in Val Trompia (Italy) where the main focus will be on inner dialogue, personal development and active listening to life stories with different socio-cultural realities. This will be done through an itinerant route through the mountains of the valley and metaphorically between the stages of the participants’ lives.
  • Between the first and second mobility, participants will be tasked with interviewing a person over 65, initiating a constructive intergenerational exchange process.
  • In the second mobility, an even more intergenerational and rural exchange will take place through an active collaboration process with the community of La Siberia Extremeña in Puebla de Alcocer and Sancti-Spíritus (España).
  • Finally, a series of local events will be organised in each country
where participants will be able to share their experience and the possibilities of the Erasmus+ programme through an everyday life action such as ‘watching a film together’: the docu-film they created.
