The project in a few words
The ‘Rainbow Project’ was a 9-day training course organized by Get Involved in Panichishte (Bulgaria) in September 2023, focused on boosting social inclusion among youth by using theatre practice.
During the project, participants had the chance to experiment with specific tools based on the theatre practices of storytelling, acting and devised theatre. Youth workers were invited to explore the life stories of marginalized personalities whom they admire in order to create a theatre performance based on their stories of marginalization
Objectives of the project

- Increased the youth workers’ skills by providing them new tools and methodologies
- Raised awareness among young people on social inclusion and diversity, using theatre techniques
- Developed tools and working methods, among youth workers, educators and group leaders, to boost social inclusion
- Empowered young people and encourage them to take an active role in society
- Developed cooperation and teamwork skills
- Promoted self-awareness and soft-skills learning

Hosting Organisation
Get Involved is a Bulgarian non-profit organization engaged in different youth and education-related activities in Bulgaria. It has been registered as a formal non-profit organisation in 2017 and until then it has been operating as a non-formal youth group, supporting and initiating different events and initiatives, and working on a number of projects as a partner or a volunteer.
The Association actively cooperates to enhance and foster Bulgarian education and culture, supporting their effective and dynamic development, incorporating all good practices and examples established by other and more developed countries.
