The project in a few words
The ACMIT project (Assessment of Competences using Multiple Intelligences and Theatre) is a 6-day training course organized by FOCO in which 20 youth workers from 9 different European countries will come together in A Guarda (Spain) in October 2022 to explore how can the Theory of Multiple Intelligences can be used to guide young people to assess their own competences using non-formal and theatrical activities.
Main Objectives
- Provide youth workers with new methods which can be used in their daily work with youth groups,
- Explore the Theory of Multiple Intelligences which can be used to guide young people to assess their own competencies using non-formal and theatrical activities,
- Improve the skills of the youth workers involved.
Who can apply?
German residents (over 18 year-old) that…
- … are active youth workers, youth leaders and/or are involved in theatre groups
- … are fluent in English as a working language (being able to understand and communicate in English for the entire project)
- … can commit to attending to the project for its full duration
- … are proactive and willing to learn more about the topic
- … are residing in Germany
- … We encourage the participation of participants with fewer opportunities. (Participants with fewer opportunities will be prioritised.)
Hosting Organisation
FOCO is an association founded by people coming from different fields that aims at moving the non-formal education field forward through innovative projects and initiatives. The main aims of the organisation are to cooperate with other organisations in Spain and Europe to promote social inclusion, creativity, arts, culture, active citizenship, respect towards diversity and other civic values; to provide training opportunities for competence development, civic engagement, promotion of social values and others ; to promote activities and projects that follow the principles of quality, relevance, usefulness and dynamism.
